Subject: Beale - Review of a new publication

I have recently obtained a copy of a new booklet on the Beale ciphers,
privately published by Dr. Stephen M. Matyas (Of Meyer&Matyas text fame).
Beale has long been a hobby for Matyas and he has probably looked at the
ciphers from a cryptographers point of view, in more detail than anyone.
Matyas takes no side's as to whether the Beale legend is true or not and
readers are presumed to already be aware of the Beale story and ciphers.
The booklet analyzes the ciphers and produces a strong case for explaining
the method whereby Beale's first and third cipher's were produced. The
booklet also takes another look at the commonly known solution to the
second cipher and convinced me that the accepted method of decryption
is actually incomplete!

I highly recommend this booklet to anyone who has a interest in Beale.

The booklet is available for $20.00, postpaid directly from the author:

Remember me if you find the treasure! ;-) Wayne
